Light themes: suicide and murder

few things properly explain why life should be ended pre-maturely, early, before its time with intention of harming one of the most precious things on our planet; human beings.

1. killing in the name of... (war, justice, etc...); we've already covered in previous Sommē Gûys words how this is not needed and cruel and ineffective. Long term battles are won with hearts and minds... not obliterating them; destroying their existence. unless your a eugenicist, and then you imagine your "killing in the name of the greater good"... but humans arent gods; they shouldnt, on a whim, decide who lives and dies. Yeah there are nazis, but they deserve education and perpective to fix damages their beliefs or practices have done. some of them are just scared and following along because they dont know any better.. teach them.
2. "legal" executions etc; the death penalty is awfully harsh... even the most heinous criminals or abusers or murderers may have societal value under lock / key, segregated away from those they could crime against... i dont know... prison labor is one of a bunch of countries big GDP contributors; its cheap!
3. murderers; if someone or some group of people bother you so much... get away from them; if you cant... kill them with kindness? call authorities or friends for advice on the situation causing you to feel its worth ending another sentient creatures life. If your seeking justified revenge... do it in a more cool way... preferably non-violently...
4. suicide; this is an individuals right- if they want to opt-out of life, theres no form to fill out to do that.... so on some level, unable to know that individuals corcumstances, pushing them over their lifes tipping point... but there are always alternatives to ending your life: live on a farm or kibbutz, wander till you find a purpose, focus on others as a way to heal your own pains...

in recent news worldwide, 1-4 occur regularly, in uncountable daily figures...

As a species, many of us arent "ok" with this. it unsettles the certainty of having some semblence of your own area of safety abd control; your own autonomy and personhood.

when in the middle of the warzone, killing seems like a good option for surviving...

when a deeply misguided soul violently kills others, its easy to see "in kind punishment" as fair justice of some form... but then you lose all thst cheap prison labor! (i jest, i jest)

(counter; if you didnt harm, kill anyone or try to like posion people or someyhing... why are you being locked up? isolation isnt going to help non-violent criminals... or rsther isolation with other criminals isnt going to help non-violent criminals (as effectively as more effective means, like therapy, medicine, treatments, education, etc...)
