Egg-Pill, Fluff, Lint

We all start from something, build this something into fibers and strands. String theory allows for many imaginings of the world in ways that align with reality. Our “ropes”/strands - our lives - continue onward like a rope braid or twine being spun.

A network is simply a strong linkage of strings/strands/ropes, to hold and secure and transport.
The net blocks.
The net captures.
The net releases.
The net can be damaged.
The net can get tangled or loose.
As people, string theorists simplify into strings meanderings, vibrations and undulations through space and time, down into network of string interactions and twists and turns and knots and weaves and rotations, etc…

We desire a resilient network for connecting beyond our temporal-location and viewing and interacting with the creations of others.
A resilient network is one that is self sustaining, and has no single point of failure.

Gibsonian Neuromancer readers, know the new meaning of net, net running, firewalls and cyberspace: all creations of fiction that became movements and realities.

Cyberpunk forked into cypherpunk. Some of us forked to solarpunk. Crypto punks were too limiting. We keep evolving.
We don’t want теzos we want teleios: a type of perfection.

Humans are imperfect. We were much more fragile then, than we are now.
But we must always recall: Past performance is not indicative of future results.
There’s no certainty that earth culture and its inhabitants will be sustained into the future.
But we would like to give those who want to participate (or spectate), the option to build a network that ties our life strands together with those we care about in our networks, our bindings to this realm…
Time is a great equalizer. 10 million years will bury this record in either the ethers and dust of the past, or cement into blocks to be unarchived carefully later to discover the holdings of the networks inside.

Nets capture, but also can release.

Netting is lattice work, but there’s no set recipe for how to tie or weave a nets strands; why should there be?
There shouldn’t; self collecting strands can organize as they choose.
Layer after layer of net can reduce gaps between strand connections or ties.
This is all metaphor for an envisioned project evolving slowly and rapidly in stealth but without talking about the project explicitly.

It is a project many are coming together to make a reality.
It’s not one man or woman or anyones one project, it’s for us all.
It’s bigger than a global open source directive; it’s freedom to extend your strands where you choose and build the networks and content you desire and require.
